Kyndra's Foundation of Love

Spreading God's Word and Sharing His Love

Kyndra ReAnn Poelman passed away February 19, 2013 at the age of 22 years. In memory of Kyndra and ultimately in serving our Lord we, her family, have started this foundation to give children in need the opportunity to know the Lord through Christian education. Children of all ages were drawn to Kyndra and Kyndra to them. She had a special place for everyone she met in her heart. She was recently attending Lethbridge College in order to enter the field of Child and Youth Care. She felt that with all the things she struggled with in her life, she would be able to help and relate to children and youth you had struggles of their own.

She took part on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic in 2009. This experience had a huge impact on her and she looked forward to doing many more. In partnership with Edu-Deo Christian Ministries we have found a school in Zambia that would fit those needs. Because this is one of the first projects that the foundation will support there will be a HANDS team to help build and serve at the Mwase Day School in Lundazi, Zambia. This is an established school that needs upgrading in order to accommodate the many children that need education in that area.

You can help by giving a donation to Kyndra’s Foundation of Love through Christian Stewardship Services with the memo (on your cheque) marked for ‘Kyndra’s Foundation of Love’. You will receive a tax receipt from Christian Stewardship Services.

One Canadian charity we like to support is Onebook. Their goal is to help bring written languages to many groups of people whom have only had an oral language. In developing these languages the can educate the people in proper health and nutrition and help spread the Word of God through written sections of the Bible. We are sponsoring translation teams for the Mudaba people in India and also to help with distribution of an audio player with up to 320hrs of scripture, songs etc. to the people in Nepal and Camaroon.
